Chemical Physics is an exciting and interdisciplinary area
of science lying midway between the traditional fields of
Chemistry and Physics. Although interdisciplinary in character,
the field of Chemical Physics is quite broad, covering everything
from elementary excitations in atoms, to the theory of weakly
bond complexes, to nanoscience and technology involving novel
materials. Chemical Physicists tend to focus on solving complex
problems, using a variety of experimental and theoretical
techniques from different areas of science to understand
the fundamental properties of nature.
