Student operators:

The Department's X-ray crystallography facilities include a Nicolet R3m/v single-crystal diffractometer that has been upgraded to include an ApexII CCD detector and with updated Siemans collection and SHELX based refinement software. A 2.5 kW Phillips powder diffractometer outfitted with a 120° INEL detector is also available for powder diffraction.
