In an emergency, dial 911 from any campus telephone.

Non-emergency situations that require attention from campus police should be reported by dialing 4-3114.

Prof. John Bartmess is the Department's safety officer. Please contact him if you have safety-related questions.

Prof. Bartmess maintains a safety Web page that contains an online version of the Department's Chemical Hygiene Plan, a copy of the University's policy statement regarding the Right to Know Law, and safety-related information for new students and researchers.
