Joint Institutes and ORNL Research Programs
The University and Chemistry Department enjoy strong collaborative research ties to the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) which includes the Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences (CNMS), the Spalation Neutron Source (SNS), high performance computing and High Temperature Materials laboratory (HTML). Furthermore, the University and ORNL have several joint institutes to help foster collaborative research projects. These include the Joint Institutes for Biological, Computational, Neutron Sciences, and Advanced Materials. More information about research programs at ORNL and the joint institutes can be found via the listed below.
