Chemistry Department Welcomes New Faculty
The Department of Chemistry would like to welcome Dr. David Jenkins and Dr. Jon Camden to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville as the newest members of the faculty. Dr. Jenkins will be an Assistant Professor in Inorganic chemistry while Dr. Camden will be an Assistant Professor in Analytical Chemistry.

Colloquia
The first colloquium of the Fall 2008 semester will be August 28 at 3:40 PM in Buehler 415. Dr. Gregory Girolami, Professor of Chemistry, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will give a talk entitled "Materials for Nanotechnology: New Chemistry for the Chemical Vapor Deposition of Thin Films" This talk will be webcast.
