Application Requirements

be completed online.
These checklists will help you assemble the information
you need to complete your application.
Information requested from U.S. applicants:
- The total number of credit hours of chemistry you have completed.
- Your current grade point average.
- Your grade point average in chemistry courses only.
- Your GRE scores, if you have already taken the GRE. The University
of Tennessee requires that all graduate school applicants take the
general GRE exam. The Chemistry subject exam is optional, but
if you have taken this exam, reporting your score could enhance
your application.

University of Tennessee.
- The names, postal addresses, and e-mail addresses of at least
three people who will supply
letters of recommendation on your behalf.
- A list of faculty members at the University of Tennessee whose
research interests you.
You will also need to mail us official transcripts from all colleges
you have attended.
